Foldable iPhone: Pay $2,500, Still Can't Zoom
Bloomberg's Mark Gurman says Apple's long-rumored foldable iPhone will ship without a telephoto camera, the same corner-cutting move seen on the base iPhone 17. Instead you get a wide and ultrawide lens, meaning that stadium-seat zoom shot you love on iPhone 17 Pro becomes a blurry crop job. For a device rumored to cost up to $2,500, that's a tough pill for photography fans hoping the folding future would also be the flagship future.
Nothing says premium innovation like paying a luxury price for a mid-tier camera.
