Ukraine confirmed it struck Russia's Progress Rocket Space Center in Samara using domestically made Flamingo cruise missiles, hitting the facility that builds the Soyuz-2 rocket, Russia's main workhorse for both civilian launches and ISS crew missions. Roscosmos was already short on Soyuz production before the strike, with demand outpacing capacity by up to 50 percent through 2030. Any real damage here doesn't just dent military logistics, it could ground Russia's entire space program.
