Musk Wanted to Buy Another AI Coder? Not So Fast, Says Cognition
Bloomberg reported that SpaceX tried to snap up AI coding startup Cognition, days after closing its $60B buy of Cursor, as Musk pushes to make AI "99% of SpaceX's value" within five years. Cognition CEO Scott Wu shot the story down on X, insisting the company isn't for sale and that no talks happened. Bloomberg says deal chatter has cooled, but the two may still team up on compute. Either way, it shows Musk's AI shopping spree isn't slowing down.
Nothing says "we're not talking" like a Bloomberg source dump and a same day denial tweet.
