Apple's Mac Mini Comeback Tour, Brought to You by AI Bros
Mac Minis vanished from Apple's shelves back in February after AI agent fanatics running swarms of bots like OpenClaw realized the tiny desktop was perfect always-on hardware. Tim Cook even admitted on an earnings call that the demand blindsided Apple. Now Bloomberg's Mark Gurman says a surprise refresh with new M5 and possibly M6 chips could drop within days, ahead of Apple's usual September iPhone event. If true, it'd be Apple's first ever M6 product, rushed out the door to feed the agentic AI hardware hunger.
Nothing says 'we underestimated you' like sneaking out a product before your own keynote.
