ChatGPT now remembers everything you did on your Mac
OpenAI just gave ChatGPT's Mac app a new opt-in feature called Computer History, which quietly logs your clicks, keystrokes, and app activity to build a timeline the AI can reference later, letting it recap your morning, pick up half-finished tasks, or suggest automations. Sound familiar? It's basically OpenAI's answer to Microsoft's widely mocked Windows Recall, minus the screenshots, OpenAI insists it only tracks 'events,' not images or audio, and it skips incognito tabs. Still, teaching an AI to watch your every move is a big ask for trust.
Nothing says 'productivity tool' like an AI that knows exactly how much time you wasted this morning.
